Welcome to the Bedouins Petanque Club website.

Whether you are an experienced player, or simply curious about the game, all are welcome to visit our terrain at Avorians Cricket Club in Cobham, Surrey.

We Bedouins are a sociable bunch with a focus on the fun side of the game as much as competing. Our ethos is inclusive and encouraging. We play to enjoy the game and strive to improve our skills  so that members are comfortable competing at whatever level they want to achieve. We have qualified petanque coaches who are always willing to help develop skills.

The terrain is part of the Avorians Cricket Club with its fully stocked bar, log fire, seating areas, full kitchen facilities, toilets and changing rooms. All this in a quintessentially English setting, often with the local Buzzards soaring overhead.

There is ample free parking on-site.

We have a 28m X 14m terrain which can accommodate up to 8 simultaneous games. The terrain is constructed on an undulating hard-core base and top dressed with crushed granite. We have lights for those darker days.

Our club melees are on Sunday mornings from 11 am and Wednesday evenings from 5 pm throughout the year. (Come rain or shine!). The terrain is always open for practice.
